Jennifer Rosanwo is a music educator and performer in the greater Chicago area. She has taught band, orchestra, preschool music, and elementary music in public and private schools. Jennifer has over ten years of experience teaching private music lessons in clarinet and piano to students ranging from 3 years of age to adult.
Jennifer has performed with many music ensembles, including the National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge, CO and the Rockford Symphony Orchestra in Rockford, IL. She currently performs as a freelance artist.
A native of Illinois, Jennifer is familiar with the youth music programs in the area. During her school years, she played with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and Midwest Young Artists, as well the ILMEA District 7 Band, District 7 Orchestra, and ILMEA All-State. In more recent years, she has served as a clarinet judge for the ILMEA Junior Auditions.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance and Music Education from Northwestern University and a Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University. She also holds a certification in Elementary Piano Teaching from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
In addition to music, Jennifer enjoys cooking, jogging, and spending time with friends and family.
